A day without writing a story, is a day not being alive ...
Luc Vos (°1968 Herk-de-Stad) lives in Heultje-Westerlo (Belgium), loves to write and writes a lot. A mix of short and long - usually thrilling - stories.
Short stories
Over a hundred shortstories have been published, of which a lot reached top places in writing contests. May 2020 he won the 'Zwarte Sneeuw - Godijn Publishing' writing contest with 'Noorderlichtvrouw'.
2022 he won, amongst others, second and fourth place in the 'Louterend vuur' contest by Godijn Publishing, 2nd and 10th place in the Hermes 'Een ijskoude moord (an Icecold murder)' contest and the 1st and 3rd place in the travelstory contest by Schrijven online.
2023 he reached 3rd place in 'Bevrijdingsdag (liberation day)' contest, 2nd place in the Hebban Summer reading contest and several podium places in other contests.
2024 he won 1st place in 'Het Korte verhaal (the short story)', writing challenge and 'Ware woorden wereld challenge'; 2nd in Fantascifi and 'Verhaal van de maand' and other top 10 places.
2025 he was 2nd in 'Verhaal van de maand' and '3 word contest' and several other top ten places and publications.
He also writes ultrashort stories (99 words) on a daily basis (over 1.600 so far) in a Facebookgroup, of which a selection is published weekly in print and online.
His main focus however is the Anne Verelst Thriller list, of which four parts have been published in Dutch sofar:
Paternoster (2023), Zeven (2022), Het woord (2024), Adem (2025).
